Keeping You Inspired By Bags of EthicsTM As You Work From Home
Due to the recent outbreak of coronavirus, many people across the world are being forced to self-isolate and continue their day to day work from home. We as a business are concerned about this, our UK office is working from home but fully operational – we are engaging in daily team talks via the teams app, and are constantly brainstorming and creating now and exciting projects. Interaction with other humans and the outside world is entirely necessary, we need stimulus to keep us occupied, so how can we still be productive when the world around us has gone into hibernation?
1. STAY INSPIRED
Stay inspired with our moodboards, design options and prints. Check out our Instagram and Pinterest for more tips, tricks and ideas in the highlights sections.
2. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF EXPERT ADVICE
We are offering – FREE DESIGN STUDIO HELP: If you want, our design studio is giving 3 free digital mockups to help you design any products that you might have wanted to explore but never had the chance to. Just send over any drawings or moodboards or pictures for inspiration. Email us at [email protected] and we can work through some options of tote bags, or reusable packaging you might need.
REDUCED MINIMUM QUANTITIES: We have also implemented a reduced minimum order quantity as we understand that you might have constraints on your projections.
3. DEVELOP A ROUTINE
Routine is something that most of us really need in our lives. Don’t let being at home make your day-to-day routine slide. Wake up at the same time each day, and get ready for the day. Read more about our work lifestyle here. We as a team have got set call-in times and conference calls like a timetable so that we have developed a sense of structure.
However tempted you are to sit in your pyjamas all day, make sure you get dressed, get ready, and set yourself up nicely. Take coffee breaks, and preferably get some fresh air, even if it’s just from an open window, and make sure you do something active like go for a walk or do some star jumps at lunch. At the end of the working day, make sure you take time away from a screen so you can adjust ready for bed.
4. REACH OUT AND COLLABORATE
Brands are looking to collaborate and learn more about what you are doing. So if you are keen on collaborating with a brand then drop them a line. We are really keen to support small businesses and you can read our recent client spotlights during International Women’s Day here.
5. KEEPING CHILDREN OCCUPIED
We have just released our children’s mindfulness and activity product listing such as the colour-me-in tote bags, pencil cases and play mats, do creating. If you are keen to order small quantities of illustrations you want printed on white canvas bag bases then do email us at [email protected]
These are just some of the ways in which we are surviving this period of uncertainty. Let us know your tips for surviving the self- isolation by dropping us a DM on Instagram – @bagsofethics.
