Sriram’s commitment to responsible manufacturing began during the 2008 financial crisis, leading her to join her father’s company. Recognising the need for plastic alternatives, she steered Supreme Creations toward eco-friendly packaging, making it an industry leader.
Empowering Communities and Driving Change
A key factor in the brand’s success is its ethical production model. The company employs over 1,500 workers in its Pondicherry factory, where 80% of the workforce is female. Sriram ensures fair wages and humane working conditions, setting a new benchmark for ethical manufacturing. Through initiatives like Wings of Hope, she supports disadvantaged communities, demonstrating that businesses can be both profitable and purposeful.

Since becoming CEO in 2013, Sriram has expanded the company while upholding its core values of professionalism, ethics, and sustainability. She was recently honoured with an OBE in His Majesty The King’s 2025 New Year’s Honours List for Services to Fashion.
