“NO ONE is useless in this WORLD who LIGHTENS the burden of ANOTHER”
Charles Dickens
Charity is an essential part of our business. It’s how we support the causes that we care deeply about and how we take small actions to create a better future for both people and planet. All of the products that are available to purchase from Bags of Ethics have been created to support our causes, whether that’s through collaborative projects with charitable organisations, or products that support charities through direct donations.
As well as helping large charities and organisations, we believe it is important to take regular action that will directly benefit individuals in our communities, both in the UK and at our factory in Pondicherry. This could be anything from supporting food banks and creating educational opportunities to support orphans, blind children, elderly and the disabled.
We also work to support the families of our factory workers, and bring joy through celebrations for key events such as Diwali. Every year we send our factory team on a trip to tea plantations or natural conservation sites in South India, where we cover all expenses so our team can relax and enjoy singing and dancing together.

Over the past two decades, the Wings of Hope have worked with over 40,000 UK students from 500 schools, who have in turn completed over 50,000 youth-led projects in their communities.
