“If you had just ONE plant, ONE flower… it would be rather BORING. You need DIVERSITY: varieties of plants to come up with VARIOUS COMBINATIONS of how BEAUTIFUL they are”
Dr R. Sri Ram, Founder of Bags of Ethics
At Bags of Ethics, we don’t just respect different cultures, religions and lifestyles, we actively celebrate them – with parties, music and dancing, both in our UK offices and our factory in India. We love to bring people together to celebrate our differences.
We’re honoured to have a wonderfully diverse workforce with 15 different languages spoken. It’s probably why we’ve been successful when working with companies from all over the world. It’s also one of the reasons why our staff have been so loyal to our company with an average length of service of over 10 years.
We want to work towards a world where everyone is treated equally and inclusively, regardless of background, gender, disability or sexual preference. In fact, we see this as a basic human right and dream of a day when it’s such a given that it’s never even debated or contested.
But until that day comes, we’ll continue our work with like-minded businesses to raise awareness and funds that help support inclusivity and equality, such as our Proud To Be Me collection which celebrates Pride and raises money for the charity AKT.
Our YouTube Plant Room series delves into some of the most fascinating issues in sustainability and manufacturing. Join our CEO, Smruti, as she talks to industry leaders and renowned experts.
