What personal data do we collect about you?
- Directly from You. This Is Information You Provide to Us Via Our Website, or During Consultations with Us.
- From an Agent/third Party Acting on Your Behalf. E.g. from One of Your Colleagues, or Verified Suppliers E.g. If Your Business Is Participating in an Event Which Has Been Published Online.

How long do we keep your personal data?
How long we keep your information will depend on the purpose for which we use it.
We only keep your information for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice and to fulfil our legal obligations. We have internal rules that set out how long we retain information.
Who do we share your personal data with?
We share your personal information with third parties who perform functions on our behalf and who also provide services to us, such as professional advisors, IT consultants carrying out testing and development work on our business technology systems, research and mailing houses and function co-ordinators.
We share your personal information with our other Group companies for internal reasons, primarily for business and operational purposes. As we continue to develop our business, we may sell or purchase assets. If another entity acquires us or merges with us your personal information will be disclosed to such entity.
If any bankruptcy or reorganisation proceeding is brought by or against us, all such information will be considered an asset of ours and as such it is possible they will be sold or transferred to third parties

We process your information

- As This Is Necessary for the Performance of the Contract with You for Consulting Service or to Take Steps at Your Request Prior to Entering into This Contract.
- As This Is Necessary in Pursuit of Our Legitimate Interests in Marketing Similar Products and Services to You.

If we have a commercial contract with you, our contractual obligations under that contract with you that require us to process your information.
Do we make automated decisions concerning you?
No, we do not carry out automated decision making or automated profiling.

What about marketing?
Bags of Ethics would like to contact you from time to time about our new similar products and promotional offers by email /telephone/post/ social media/ instant message via website/phone applications.

Where do we store your personal data? Do we transfer your personal data outside the EEA?
All information you provide to us is securely stored on our web servers and other secure SaaS providers platforms.
Where possible, we try to only process your information within the UK and European Economic Area (EEA). If we or our service providers transfer personal data outside of the UK or EEA, we always require that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect the information when it is processed.
How do we keep your personal data secure?
We ensure the security of your personal data through use of encryption, firewalls, password protection and multi-factor authentication. We also take steps to ensure all our subsidiaries, agents, affiliates and suppliers employ adequate levels of security.
What rights do you have in relation to the personal data we hold on you?

Tree Portal/ Login area
The Green Tree Badge is administered by Royal Forestry Society and Bags of Ethics (Supreme Creations Ltd). Any activities conducted within the Tree Login/ Portal area will be monitored to assess the progress of your child/ school/ community group/ participant. This includes but is not restricted to checking and verifying all details of the participants e.g. name, school, parent/ guardian details, and the completion of specific activities which are logged in the portal. This information is simply processed to see the progress of activities being completed and to assess the participant to obtain The Green Tree Badge. The information about any individual progress will not be disclosed unless the participant wishes to make this public for awards ceremonies or certification purposes.

What does this mean?
The right to be informed
You have the right to be provided with clear, transparent and easily understandable information about how we use your information and your rights. This is why we’re providing you with the information in this Privacy Notice.

You have the right to obtain access to your information (if we’re processing it), and certain other information (similar to that provided in this Privacy Notice).
This is so you’re aware and can check that we’re using your information in accordance with data protection law.

How will we handle a request to exercise your rights?
We’ll respond as soon as we can. Generally, this will be within one month from when we receive your request but, if the request is going to take longer to deal with, we’ll come back to you and let you know.
We usually act on requests and provide information free of charge, but may charge a reasonable fee to cover our administrative costs of providing the information for:
- Baseless or Excessive/repeated Requests, Or
- Further Copies of the Same Information.
Alternatively, the law may allow us to refuse to act on the request.
